Foreign effects coat of arms 1875/1886 issues |
|
In 1875 besides the above mentioned revenue stamps, are introduced special stamps for trade bills issued abroad and circulated or payable in the country, and to be applied on customs operations acts. These stamps were known as "foreign effects". The first issue, circulated from 1875 to 1886 had the following values: 5, 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 bani, 1 leu, 1.5 lei, etc, from 50 bani to 50 bani up to 10 lei.
In 1886 appears the second issue of stamps for foreign effects, circulated until 1911, being different only by the suppressing of the value of the act for which the stamp is to be applied.

Foreign effects stamps King Carol I: 30 and 50 bani printed at the print in the same color (light green) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 and 30 lei, printed in taille-douce, in olive. The stamps issued in 1911 are the most successful Romanian stamps, regarding design and execution. Their printing was done on printing presses brought in 1907 - 1919, using dies manufactured abroad. |

Foreign effects stamps King Carol I: 30 and 50 bani, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 and 30 lei. During the First World War the stamps used in the occupied territory where "overprinted" by the occupying forces order with the initials "Gültig 9 Armée". Only 50 bani and 1 leu overprinted recorded until now. After World War I the same values was "MF" overprinted in red. Only 50 bani and 1 leu recorded until now. |

1875 custom national issues, paper changed colours, pre-cancelled issue for Braila with the oval stamp CAMERA COMERCIU * BRAILA * and other issue, pre-cancelled with a large circular hand-stamp COMITETUL BURSEI GALATZ. New issue, stamps perfored on the middle or 1/4 up or bottom, unlisted yet in any catalogues.

National issue with the new Mercury, god of commerce. They were printed 6 values but different thicknesses of paper and shades of color. In most cases, particular shades were issued to just one Chamber of Commerce. Other shades may be colour changelings. |

Mercury & Oil Wells. Found to promote industrial employement. This design was used for a 45 numbers of towns, the name of the town appears in black overprinted on the lower panel. "BURSA DE EFECTE ACTIUNI SI SCHIMB BUCURESTI" overprinted issue. |

Bucharest Stock Exchange 1930/35 |

In 1935 a new issue was printed on Bucharest, Stock Exchange issue, double stamps perforated in the middle with serial number on bottom. Number of values 10. The first time double stamp is used (stamp queen), left part remain the issuer of the document and right to the beneficiary. This issue was in national use. 1946 currency stabilization overprinted issue.
